Professor Maicon Deivid Pereira received the B.Eng., MSc and PhD degrees in electrical engineering from the Federal University of Santa Catarina, Florianópolis, Brazil, in 2006, 2009 and 2017, respectively. He was with the Center for Information Technology Renato Archer, Campinas, Brazil, from 2009 to 2012, working as an Analog/Radio-Frequency IC Designer. Since 2018, he has been an Adjunct Professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the Federal University of Bahia, Salvador, Brazil. Has experience in analog, mixed and radio frequency integrated electronic circuits, as well as channel characterization and modeling for wireless communication systems.
Research interests: low-power analog and communication circuits and systems; communication channel characterization and modeling techniques and alternative communication methods for wireless networks.
